Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit FC Dynamos have signed their own Billiat plus three other players. Of course, not the famous Khama Billiat.
In a statement, the Harare-based club confirmed the arrival of Malawian winger Stanley Billiat, who like his well-known former Kaizer Chiefs namesake, boasts pace and trickery.

“Billiat is a brilliant winger who is eager to show why he deserves to put on the Dynamos jersey. Previously, he plied his trade at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Ekhaya FC,” reads part of the statement.
The team that is also called DeMbare, has also hired Congolese defender Isaac Landu on a three-year deal from Ndanu FC, and expect him to “bring grit and steadiness to our backline this season.”
The 22-time champions have also recruited defender Anotidaishe Gwatizo from Yadah FC on a three-year deal.
The club touted the 21-year-old as a “young and talented left-back who will provide cover to his namesake, Abel on the left side of our defence.”
The latest recruits at DeMbare include experienced defender Collin Mujuru formerly from GreenFuel FC and Bullets in Malawi, on a two-year contract.
The statement says the 27-year-old brings a “wealth of experience having previously represented Harare City, Highlanders and Herentals FC. Mujuru also had a successful stint with Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets. Mujuru plays as a left-back or defensive midfielder.”
Dynamos are strengthening their squad to avoid a scenario of last season when they escaped relegated on the very last day of the campaign to finish fourth from the bottom of the log table.
