The Ghana U-20 national team will partake in a 4-Nation tournament in preparation for the Africa U-20 Championship in Ivory Coast.

The Black Satellites will fly to Morocco for the tournament that will run from March 17-25, 2025. This tournament is a perfect exercise for the technical team to further assess the strength of the available players against high profile teams in Africa ahead of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Desmond Offei’s charges have already engaged in some friendly matches against Accra Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Heart of Lions, and other lower-tier sides.

The four-nation tournament will feature Morocco, Ghana, and two other teams yet to be named according to the Ghana Football Association.

Ghana have been paired in Group A alongside host Cote D'Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and one team from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFFAC) for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament runs from April 26 to May 18.

Ghana will look to annex their fifth continental youth title after lifting the trophy in 1993, 1999, 2009, and 2021 and the FIFA U-20 World Cup once in Egypt in 2009.
