Egyptian Premier League outfit Pyramids FC have confirmed the exit of Burkina Faso international Blati Toure, who has already moved to sign for Al Ahly Tripoli in Libya.

According to a statement on Pyramids social media pages, they have wished Toure all the best in his next assignment. “Thank You Blati For these wonderful Years,” read part of the statement.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly confirmed the arrival of Toure in a statement on their official pages: “Coming from the champion of the continent, decorated with the colours of Libya’s champion and leader. Burkinabe Blati Toure is the president’s gift.

Toure joined Pyramids in January 2022

According to reports, the Burkina Faso midfield maestro has inked an eighteen-month contract. Blati joined Pyramids in January 2022, right after the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon, where Burkina Faso finished fourth.

Over four seasons, he made more than 160 appearances. His outstanding performances were rewarded with two major trophies: the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup in 2025 with Pyramids.

Born in Bouaké, Toure made his senior debut with Rayo Vallecano’s reserve team in 2013, in Tercera División. On 3 August 2015, after a one-year spell at Recreativo de Huelva’s B-team, he joined Evian Thonon Gaillard on loan for the season.

Toure made Burkina Faso debut in Mali win

Toure made his professional debut on 14 August 2015, starting in a 1-1 Ligue 2 away draw against AC Ajaccio. He contributed with 12 appearances during the campaign, as his side suffered relegation.

In 2018, Toure returned to Spain after signing a contract with Córdoba CF in Segunda División. The following 11 June, he signed a three-year deal with Primeira Liga side Vitória de Guimarães.

He made his debut for Burkina Faso in a 2-1 friendly win over Mali.

Pyramids FC have officially confirmed the departure of Burkina Faso international Blati Toure, who has completed a move to Libyan giants Al Ahly Tripoli.

The Egyptian Premier League outfit announced Toure’s exit via their official social media platforms, thanking the midfielder for his contributions during his time at the club and wishing him success in the next chapter of his career.

“Thank you Blati for these wonderful years,” read part of the farewell message posted by Pyramids FC.

Shortly after, Al Ahly Tripoli also confirmed the arrival of the experienced midfielder, hailing his signing as a major boost to their squad.

“Coming from the champion of the continent, decorated with the colours of Libya’s champion and leader. Burkinabe Blati Toure is the president’s gift,” the Libyan club said in a statement.

According to reports, Blati Toure has signed an 18-month contract with Al Ahly Tripoli, ending a highly successful spell with Pyramids FC that spanned over four seasons.

The move marks a new chapter in the career of the Burkina Faso midfielder, who departs Egypt as one of the most decorated and consistent foreign players in the club’s recent history.
