Sua Flamingoes FC coach Nikola Kavazovic has piled the pressure on himself after declaring that only a win over Chidibe FC on Saturday would be acceptable, only to share the spoils in Botswana’s FNB Premiership match in Sowa Town.

The Serb, who joined Flamingoes on a two-year contract, had addressed the Botswana club’s fans via Facebook, saying his team was now jelling to start delivering the goods starting with Saturday’s clash.

“It has been three weeks since my arrival, and while we've had some unconvincing results, including two home draws, we've now had a reasonable amount of time to work together and build a stronger understanding as a team,” Kavazovic said.

“I can see the progress—pieces of the puzzle are coming together. As we head into tomorrow’s [Saturday] match, there’s no room for excuses - Anything other than a win, I’ll accept it as a personal failure.”

However, the hosts needed Leotwane’s added time goal to salvage the point which left them in seventh place, nine places behind leaders, Tafic. Kavazovic's last job was with Vipers FC in the Uganda Premier League four months ago.

In other games, Mochudi Chiefs and Township Rollers drew 0-0 whereas Tafic ran riot in a 6-0 punishment of Flamengo Santos.

Elsewhere, Morupule Wanderers stunned Gaborone United 4-2 whereas Extension Gunners lost 0-1 to Jwaneng Galaxy as Nico United beat Matebele FC 2-1.
