Sekhukhune United is making serious moves to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Betway Premiership season, and they’ve just landed a big fish: experienced striker Bradley Grobler.
Grobler’s agency, Mscsports Talent, confirmed on Monday that the 37-year-old forward has joined Babina Noko. He makes the switch from SuperSport United, who recently sold their PSL status to Siwelele FC. However, Sekhukhune has yet to officially unveil the striker.
Last season, the veteran goalscorer played in 17 matches across all competitions for the now-defunct Matsatsantsa, bagging four goals and one assist. His playing time was limited due to an injury that kept him sidelined for a significant period.
Grobler leaves SuperSport United as their all-time leading goalscorer, having found the back of the net 91 times in 293 appearances. His impressive career tally stands at 115 goals in the PSL so far.
“Deal done – Bradley Grobler to Sekhukhune United has been completed. All the best, Sniper,” Mscsports Talent agency announced in a statement.
Having previously played for teams like Platinum Stars, Ajax Cape Town, and Göztepe in Turkey, Grobler is expected to bring crucial value and a sharp edge to Sekhukhune’s attacking line.
