Morocco international Brahim Diaz is gradually warming his way into the heart of Real Madrid supporters with his recent form for record European champions.
Having regained playing time and confidence at the record European champions after an important discussion with his coach, Alvaro Arbeloa, Diaz has enjoyed consecutive games appearances.
Brahim Diaz chose passion over well-being.
He didn’t even realise he hurt himself in the process 😳

Starting in the last three matches, the 26-year-old is demonstrating that he can be a credible option in the Madrid squad, even within a group full of stars, although several key players have been absent in recent weeks due to injuries.
After Real Madrid’s resounding 4-1 victory against Elche on Saturday, Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa did not hide his satisfaction with the AFCON finalist who reached his 150 games in Real’s shirt.
“He is happy, as all players are when they play and feel important. He had to be very patient after his return from the Africa Cup of Nations.
“He worked very hard. That’s what footballers have to do: work again and again, because an opportunity always comes along eventually.
“I’m very happy to have him. He has many qualities,” Arbeloa said.
Diaz was a mainstay for the Atlas Lions who galloped into the finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinalist however, lost the finals 1-0 to Senegal at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in January.
The Malaga born played seven matches, scoring five goals at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Diaz has made a combined 29 appearances in league and European competitions with a goal and six assist under his sleeve in the current season.
