Brazil to face Egypt in friendly ahead of 2026 World Cup

The Brazilian Football Confederation has officially announced its international friendly schedule in preparation for the 2026 World Cup, including a high-profile clash against Egypt national football team.

Brazil will take on Egypt at Huntington Bank Field in Ohio, United States, on June 6 (local time). Tickets for the match will go on sale on Thursday, February 26.

The Pharaohs are also set for two friendly encounters in March against Saudi Arabia national football team and Spain national football team as part of their preparations for the global tournament.

The current Egyptian Premier League season is scheduled to conclude on May 30, giving players a short window before international duty begins.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off on June 11 and run until July 19. The Pharaohs will begin their campaign on June 15 with a challenging opening match against Belgium national football team.
