Bright Osayi-Samuel agrees to join Besiktas

Nigeria national team right back Bright Osayi-Samuel has officially agreed to join Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas on a free transfer.
The Istanbul side have reportedly agreed to meet Osayi-Samuel’s €2.5m salary demand. Osayi-Samuel will join the Black and Whites after his stint at Fenerbahce ends this month following failed attempts to agree a new contract. The 27-year-old is expected to undergo medicals in the following week.
He spent four years at Fenerbahce following his arrival from Fenerbahce in 2021. Osayi-Samuel made 120 league appearances for the Canaries with six goals to his name. The 27-year-old continues to feature regularly for the Nigeria national team, starting both of the Super Eagles' matches in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying in March.
