Brooklyn FC officially unveil Ghana midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe

Ghana senior female team midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has officially been unveiled by Brooklyn FC following her move to the club for the 2025/26 USL Gainbridge Super League season.

The club announced the signing of the 31-year-old Black Queens midfielder last Wednesday after her return from international duty where she helped Ghana qualify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco.

Cudjoe moves to Brooklyn FC after making her first appearance in the Gainbridge Super League with DC Power FC last season where she managed to chalk 10 matches. She previously played for Danish flight side, Nordsjaelland.

She posted after her unveiling: “Super excited to join Brooklyn fc! And on top of that, it my first home game today!! Happy game day.”

Cudjoe cut her teeth in Ghana with Hasaacas Ladies where she played between 2012 and 2014 before moving to the USA for a successful collegiate career, playing for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, Northeastern State University, and the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

Cudjoe later signed for California Storm FC in 2017 before transferring to Asheville City SC the following season. She joined the Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves in 2020 before playing for Sky Blue FC in the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup and later Gotham City FC in 2020.

Cudjoe helped Ghana win bronze at last WAFCON

“Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader. Her composure, professionalism, and passion for the game will make a huge impact on our group,” said Brooklyn sporting director Kevin Tenjo.

Cudjoe has played for Ghana’s U-17, U-20 and the senior side where she has collected eight caps. She was a member of the Black Queens squad that won bronze at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

She equally played a key role as Ghana defeated Egypt on 7-0 aggregate over two legs to book the next Africa Women’s champions in Morocco next year.
