Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo, 25, who is contracted to Brentford FC until the summer of 2026 with an option to extend for a further season, has an official offer of £55 million from Manchester United who are keen to sign him. However, Brentford FC value their player at over £60 million.

Despite this offer, Tottenham has entered preliminary negotiations to sign Mbeumo. Although new Tottenham manager and Mbeumo's former head coach at Brentford Thomas Frank is reportedly keen on signing the Cameroonian, Mbeumo still prefers a move to Manchester United.

Last season, Mbeumo played 42 games in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 9 assists, making him a target for several top English Premier League clubs.
