Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo has opened up on playing at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Manchester United attacker was a member of the Indomitable Lions squad that got eliminated from the quarter finals after losing 2-0 to hosts Morocco.

Mbeumo, 26, played four games with one assist at the AFCON and he cherishes that feat as a player.
“The CAN? It was one of the best football experiences of my career. In the end, we had a fantastic CAN. There were a lot of people who were skeptical,” he told Zack Nani TV.
”The quarterfinal against Morocco? I’ve never felt such pressure in my entire career.”
Mbeumo played ten times and scored one goal for France at the youth level up to the U-21 level before switching allegiance to represent Cameroon following a meeting with current Football Association president Samuel Eto’o in 2022.
He made 9 appearances and scored one goal during the 2022–23 season, with three appearances coming during Cameroon’s 2022 World Cup campaign where the exited at the group stage in Qatar.
Mbeumo, who previously played for Troys and Brentford before joining Manchester United in 2025, has 32 caps with seven goals for the five time African champions.
He has a made an impressive 24 English Premier League appearances with nine goals and three assists for Manchester United this season.
