Goal machine Serhou Guirassy added to his impressive goal total on Saturday as Borussia Dortmund won by a lopsided score at Freiburg in Germany's Bundesliga.

The Guinea national team star was left with a simple tap in to make it 3-0 for the visitors in the 68th minute. After goals from Karim Adeyemi and Carney Chukwuemeka gave Dortmund a 2-0 early in the second half, Julian Brandt set up substitute Guirassy for an easy finish to bring his goal total to fifteen in Bundesliga play (25 goals in all competitions).

While his recent form has been disappointing with Guinea, who failed to score and could only claim one point from 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Somalia and Uganda in March, Guirassy continues to do well with Dortmund. His fifteen league goals leaves him tied for third on the Bundesliga top scorer list, level with Tim Kleindienst, Jonathan Burkardt and the since departed Omar Marmoush who now plays at Manchester City.

Guirassy is also tied for second with Harry Kane on the goal scoring list in the UEFA Champions League, one behind Barcelona star Raphinha. Dortmund remain in contention for continental glory as they will now prepare for the first leg of their quarterfinal clash with Barcelona on Wendesday at the Camp Nou. However, Dortmund continue to struggle in the Bundesliga, sitting in a disappointing eighth place on the table.
