CAF CC: Zamalek’s fixture against Dekedaha rescheduled

Zamalek SC have confirmed a change in the kickoff time for their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clash against Somali side Dekedaha, set to be played on Saturday at Cairo International Stadium.

Originally scheduled to start at 3:00 PM GMT, the first-leg encounter of the second preliminary round will now kick off at 4:00 PM GMT, following an official notification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The adjustment was made after coordination between CAF and Zamalek, primarily to accommodate broadcasting rights arrangements for the match. Both clubs have been formally informed of the new kickoff time.

Zamalek vs Dekedaha both legs in Cairo

The return leg between Dekedaha and Zamalek is scheduled for Friday, October 24, with the match to be held at the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo at 3:00 PM GMT.

CAF had previously approved Zamalek’s request to host both legs in Egypt, following mutual agreement between the two clubs. The change was made as Dekedaha opted not to play the home fixture in Somalia.
