The draw for the knockout stages of the CAF Champions League was held today, officially determining each team’s route from the quarter-finals all the way to the final.
The group stage concluded last Sunday, completing the lineup of eight qualified teams for the quarter-finals. The draw ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association in 6th of October City, Egypt.
The draw produced four heavyweight clashes across the continent:
QF1: RS Berkane (Morocco) vs Al Hilal (Sudan)
QF2: Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia) vs Al Ahly (Egypt)
QF3: Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa) vs Stade Malien (Mali)
QF4: AS FAR (Morocco) vs Pyramids FC (Egypt)
The first-leg matches are scheduled to take place on March 13, 14, or 15, while the return legs will be played on March 20, 21, or 22.
