CAF confirms dates for finals of Champions League, Confederation Cup and AFCON among other competitions in 2025

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee confirmed several important dates for upcoming club and national team competitions.

The CAF Executive Committee held a meeting today, on the sidelines of the 2024 CAF Awards ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco.

Here are the confirmed dates:

AFCON 2025 Key Dates

Final Draw: January 27, 2025.

Tournament Dates: December 21 to January 18, 2026

Opening Match: Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Final Match: January 18, 2026.

CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Finals 2025

CAF Champions League Final:

First Leg: May 24, 2025.

Second Leg: June 1, 2025.

CAF Confederation Cup Final

First Leg: May 17, 2025.

Second Leg: May 25, 2025.

CAF Women’s Champions League 2025

Tournament Dates: November 8 to November 23, 2025.

U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (2025)

Host Nation: Côte d’Ivoire.

Tournament Dates:

Opening Match: April 26, 2025.

Final Match: May 19, 2025.

U-17 Africa Cup of Nations

Host Nation: Morocco.

Tournament Years: 2025 and 2026.

The 2024 CAF Awards ceremony will take place today will take place today, Monday, December 15, in Marrakech, Morocco, at the Palais des Congrès.
