Uganda’s CAF Confederation Cup representatives NEC FC have confirmed a 23-man traveling squad for their preliminary round return leg against Kenya’s Nairobi United FC.
The two sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the first leg at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, with Cromwell Rwothomio and Paul Mucureezi netting for NEC, while Enock Machaka and Mwinyi Kibwana struck for the Kenyan outfit.
Hussein Mbalangu’s charges departed Uganda on Monday and arrived in Nairobi on Tuesday to intensify their preparations. The decisive clash is slated for Saturday, 27th September at Nyayo Stadium, with the aggregate winner advancing to the second preliminary round.
