Kenya national team Harambee Stars midfielder Mohammed Bajaber is conspicuously missing from the Simba SC squad for their CAF Champions League opening fixture against Gaborone United at Obert Itani Chilume Stadium in Botswana on Saturday.
Bajaber, who left Harambee Stars camp under coach Benni McCarthy while preparing for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament to put pen to paper with the Tanzanian giants, has been excluded from the squad of 23 players, who departed on Thursday for the first preliminary round fixture.
