CAFCL: Shobeir absent as Al Ahly prepare to face Orlando Pirates

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the first-team doctor at Al Ahly, confirmed that goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir will miss the upcoming CAF Champions League Group C match against Orlando Pirates due to injury.

Medical scans conducted after the league match against National Bank of Egypt revealed a Grade 2 strain in Shobier’s hamstring. The goalkeeper has started a physiotherapy and rehabilitation program.

The match is set for Saturday, December 7th, at 1:00 PM GMT. Al Ahly began their group-stage campaign with a 4-2 victory over Stade d’Abidjan, while Orlando Pirates secured a 2-1 win against CR Belouizdad.
