Leading the squad is last season’s league top scorer Allan Okello, joined by fresh recruits Kevin Dasylva Bady, Enock Ssebaggala, and Mark Yallah.
However, Usama, who joined Vipers in the recent window, has not been included, while fellow new boy Kenneth Kimera also misses out.
The winner over two legs will progress to face either Zambia’s Power Dynamos or Ivory Coast’s ASEC Mimosas in the second preliminary round. Vipers are hoping to replicate their 2022/23 feat when they eliminated TP Mazembe to reach the group stages.
