CAFWCL – WAFU-B Zone: Semifinals in Yamoussoukro

After a week of competition, the CAF Women’s Champions League (CAFWCL) qualifiers, WAFU-B Zone, move into the semi-final stage this Saturday at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro.

At 3 p.m., hosts ASEC Mimosas, winners of Group A, will face Ghana’s Police Ladies, runners-up in Group B. The Ivorians will seek to advance in front of their home supporters, while the Ghanaian side will rely on their attacking qualities to push for a spot in the final.

The second match kicks off at 7 p.m., with Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens taking on Burkina Faso’s USFA. Group B winners Bayelsa aim to confirm their status, while the Burkinabè side will look to spring an upset.

The two matches will decide the finalists of the 2025 edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers for the WAFU-B Zone, which kicked off on August 23 in Yamoussoukro.
