Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have reportedly joined the race to secure the signature of Nigerian forward Terem Moffi before the end of the January transfer window.
👀 Não foi só o parque dos principes que Terem Moffi gelou. Fez o mesmo no Estádio Luis II no Mónaco!

Celtic is still actively searching for attacking reinforcements, and OGC Nice’s unsettled forward has emerged as a key name on the club’s shortlist.
The Nigerian international is eager to leave the French side this month following a traumatic incident last November, where he was assaulted by fans after a 3-1 loss to his former club, Lorient.
An estimated 400 ultras confronted the squad bus after that match, and Moffi was among the players verbally and physically targeted. In response, the club placed him on a week of sick leave as a precautionary measure.
The 26-year-old is reportedly available, with Porto and Beşiktaş also linked to potential loan deals. According to reports, Celtic is monitoring the situation and views him as one of several striking options to bolster its firepower.
While Moffi’s contract at Nice runs until the summer of 2027 and discussions are ongoing regarding his request for a contract termination, the French club appears ready to let him depart on a short-term loan if a suitable offer arrives.
Celtic has already moved in the striker market this winter with the loan-to-buy signing of Tomáš Čvančara, but there is a clear recognition that more options are needed if the Hoops are to swing the title race back in their favor.
