Ceramica Cleopatra close to signing Reda Slim

Ceramica Cleopatra FC is close to reaching an agreement with Al Ahly SC for the loan of Moroccan right winger Reda Slim on a one-season loan.

This move aims to strengthen Ceramica Cleopatra’s squad for the new season, particularly after the Moroccan international fell out of favor with Al Ahly’s coaching staff due to the club’s full complement of foreign players.

Ceramica Cleopatra FC management is negotiating with their counterparts at Al Ahly to loan Slim. The Egyptian club is looking to sign the Moroccan right winger during the current summer transfer window to bolster its squad for next season. Al Ahly officials intend to finalize Slim’s departure upon his return from the United States, to strengthen the club’s ranks for the new season.

Slim, who arrived in July 2023 at Al Ahly SC in Egypt, has so far experienced a difficult period plagued by injuries. This season, he has played nine matches. The 25-year-old, whose contract runs until June 30, 2027, is valued at €1.5 million.
