Mario Lemina’s early goal from a Victor Osimhen assist secured Galatasaray a needed 1-0 advantage against Liverpool in their UEFA Champions League, Round of 16 first leg clash on Tuesday.
The game played at RAMS Park in Istanbul saw the Turkish giants take the lead with just seven minutes played, after Osimhen got on the end of a corner kick to head over to the Gabonese international who obliged with a diving header from close range.
Both sides came out firing on all cylinders in the second half as Osimhen and Ibrahima Konaté saw their goals ruled out.
