South Africa’s Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki has beefed up his squad with two players ahead of the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Malawi on Sunday.
Ntseki has added firepower to Bafana Bafana's frontline with the inclusion of TS Galaxy striker Victor Letsoalo and right winger Kamogelo Sebelebele ahead of the CHAN final qualifying round, second leg match.
The South African Football Association has not confirmed the duo’s inclusion in the national team for the home-based players. However, the duo’s club, TS Galaxy, confirmed the players’ recall to the Bafana Bafana squad.
“Congratulations to Victor Letsoalo on yet another well-deserved national team call-up for the CHAN qualifiers! Your consistency and experience continue to earn you the trust of the nation. We’re backing you to lead from the front once again—let’s get the job done,” a statement from Galaxy reads.
“Huge congratulations to you, Kamogelo Sebelebele, on your well-deserved national team call-up for the CHAN qualifiers! Representing your country is no small feat—go out there, give it your all, and make every minute count. We’re proud of you and can’t wait to see you shine on the continental stage.”
South Africa will go into the match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria trailing 1-0 from the first leg played at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe. Zeliet Nkhoma scored the Flames' lone goal in the 87th minute.
