Chancel Mbemba to return to the Premier League?

Chancel Mbemba could make his return to the English Premier League this summer. Nottingham Forest is considering signing the Congolese international.

With his contract with Olympique de Marseille (OM) nearing its end, Chancel Mbemba is attracting the attention of several clubs, including English club Nottingham Forest, who are closely monitoring the DR Congo center-back.

Mbemba has already played in the English Premier League with Newcastle United FC. The versatile defensive player is considered a potential reinforcement for next season by Nottingham Forest. Having joined Olympique de Marseille (OM) in July 2022, Chancel Mbemba has made 61 appearances in French Ligue 1, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.

The captain of the DR Congo Leopards is valued at €2 million by Transfermarkt but will become a free agent in two weeks. He will therefore be eligible to sign on a free transfer.
