Chelsea has reportedly offered Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson to several top European teams in the final weeks of the 2025 summer transfer window.
With the arrival of new attacking talent, Jackson’s days at the Premier League west London club are numbered as the FIFA Club World Cup champions brought in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap to Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to reports, the Blues have offered the Senegalese to Premier League rivals Manchester United and Newcastle United as well as Serie A powerhouse AC Milan, but are yet to strike a deal with any of the clubs. The report added that Chelsea are also said to have slashed an initial asking price of £100m to £80m for the 24-year-old.
Jackson joined Chelsea from Spanish LaLiga side Villarreal in the past but has suffered criticism at Stamford Bridge for his performances so far.
Sources indicate that Newcastle, a club with a clear need for a striker, has already held talks with Chelsea, but there remains a gap in their valuation of the player, with the Magpies reportedly valuing him closer to £65 million.
The attacker could eventually leave Enzo Maresca’s side before the summer transfer window ends next month. Should the forward stay at Chelsea beyond this summer, he would be in competition with Delap and Pedro for the starting position in Maresca’s squad.
Jackson, who has a long-term contract with the Blues until 2033, has publicly expressed his desire to stay and fight for his place. However, the club’s actions in the transfer market suggest a different direction.
