The Nigeria women’s national team and Brighton and Hove Albion goalie was announced as the winner on the WSL’s official Instagram handle on Monday.

Nnadozie clinched the award for her superb save in a 1-1 draw against Liverpool. The 2025 Africa Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year sprang acrobatically to tip Fuka Nagano’s long-range strike onto the crossbar.

She overcame competition from Aston Villa’s Sabrina D’Angelo, Liverpool’s Faye Kirby, and Manchester City’s Ayaka Yamashita to secure the monthly award.

Prior to her November award, the 2024 WAFCON winner had also been nominated for the October Save of the Month but missed out on the award to Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar.
