Angolan forward Chico Banza of Zamalek has passed the medical test he underwent on Monday at the Cairo Military Academy Stadium to determine his readiness to return to group training ahead of the upcoming Modern Sport clash in the Nile Egyptian League.
The player had been suffering from a groin strain, which sidelined him from Zamalek’s most recent match against Arab Contractors in the second round of the Nile Egyptian League, a game that ended in a goalless draw.
Chico Banza took part in fitness drills as well as the technical and tactical training sessions, confirming his availability for the next fixture.
Meanwhile, Zamalek resumed their training sessions on Monday at the Cairo Military Academy Stadium, as they gear up to face Modern Sport on Thursday at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in the third round of the league.
