Chiellini dismisses Juventus interest in Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen

Juventus Scouting Director Giorgio Chiellini has denied reports that the Serie A giants are interested in signing Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen.

The Italian club have been among those linked with Super Eagles striker, who was on loan at Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray from Napoli last season.

However, Chiellini has made clear that the Old Lady are not in the race to sign Osimhen, who scored 26 goals and provided five assists in 30 Süper Lig matches for Galatasaray last season.

“Victor Osimhen transfer? We’ve nothing to do with Osimhen,” Chiellini told habersarikirmizi. “You’ve to fill the pages and report the news. We read a lot of things that make us laugh. You keep talking, we keep working.”

In Italy, the 26 year-old made 133 appearances for Napoli, scoring consistently and playing a key role in their recent Scudetto triumph. In total, Osimhen scored 37 goals across 41 appearances in all competitions for Galatasaray last season.
