The former Bayern Munich star was involved in the first goal for the hosts. He was bundled to the floor by on rushing United goalkeeper and from the loose ball, Emil Forsberg scored.
Minnesota, seeking to build on last week’s 3-1 win over Dynamo Houston, equalised through Kelvin Yeboah in the 32nd minute then went in front through Nick Markanich’s 45th minute strike. It was Yeboah’s sixth league goal in 19 games.

Just as the hosts seemed to be heading for defeat, Choupo-Moting produced a piece of art, stretching his leg in the penalty box to stab the ball into the net on the stroke of full-time.
The 36-year-old veteran forward now has an impressive record of 11 goals and 2 assists from 19 matches so far in his debut MLS campaign. Red Bulls currently sit in seventh place on the Eastern Conference table with 29 points from 20 games.
