Crystal Palace omit Christantus Uche from UEFA Conference League squad

English Premier League club Crystal Palace have omitted Nigeria midfielder Christantus Uche from their 2026 UEFA Europa Conference League squad.

​Uche, who was an integral part of the group stage for Oliver Glasner’s side, has been axed from the 24-manknockout round squad submitted to UEFA.

New signings Brennan Johnson, Jørgen Strand Larsen, and Evann Guessand have been added to the list ahead of the Nigerian international.

​Uche joined the London club on loan from Spanish side Getafe at the start of the season; however, he has struggled for regular playing time at Selhurst Park.

The 22-year-old midfielder has scored once in four appearances in the Conference League.

Notably, he won Palace’s Goal of the Month award for a superb strike against KuPS Kuopio in December. In domestic action, Uche has made 13 league appearances for the Eagles, though he has started only once.
