Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze has been ruled out of Fulham Premier League fixture against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
According to Fulham manager Marco Silva, the Super Eagle picked up a calf injury during the team’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and was subsequently absent from the side’s FA Cup win over Stoke City.

However, Silva remained confident the injury was minor and the former Villarreal star could return soon.
“The only player who is going to be out of the game is Chukwueze. After City he felt something in his calf, nothing serious but even today in the morning he was involved in some drills,” Silva said as quoted by Fulham website.
He added: “Probably in the first section of next week, he is going to be completely ready to work with the team and he is going to be back for the next game.
Chukwueze joined the Cottagers on loan from AC Milan last season. He has so far registered three goals and four assists from 13 league matches.
He started playing football at the age of 8 and he admired Jay-Jay Okocha and Arjen Robben as his football idols growing up.
