Rwanda national team coach Adel Amrouche has handed a debut call-up to young Luton Town central midfielder Claude Kayibanda.
Dual national Kayibanda, 19, was born in England and will be part of the Amavubi squad for their friendly against Algeria at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine on Thursday, June 5.
The midfielder recently agreed to a contract with The Towns to stay at the Kenilworth Road for another season where he has remained a prominent feature for the U-20 side.
Claude, who can play in defence or midfield, joined the Hatters as an Under-12 and played a key role in the U-21s' Premier League Cup campaign this season.
Rwanda have posted a fantastic performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup – sitting second in Group C on 8 points, the same as Benin but five behind leaders South Africa after six qualifying matches.
Their next FIFA World Cup qualifier is away to Zimbabwe on September 8 before hosting Benin on October 25 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
