Belgian club Beerschot have officially announced the signing of striker Arnold Vula from French side Le Mans FC.
The 26-year-old Congolese forward has penned a two-year contract with the club, with an option for a third year.
Vula joins Beerschot after an impressive season in the Championnat National, the third tier of French football, where he scored 17 goals in 27 matches across all competitions. The goals came as follows:
Speaking to Beerschot’s official website, Vula expressed his pride about the move:
“I am incredibly proud to be able to take this step at the age of 26. I consider myself a late bloomer, but last season I felt that my best years are ahead of me. Playing for a club with such a strong fan base as Beerschot only makes me more eager to get started.”
