Lesotho women’s national team coach Shalane Lehohla has named a provisional 25-member party squad for the forthcoming COSAFA Championship in South Africa.
Communication from Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) shows that the team, affectionately called Mehalalitoe, regrouped for camp training on Monday.
The regional tournament was postponed late last year and will now be played in March in South Africa.
The non-residential camp kicked off with medical tests at Bambatha Tšita Sports Arena on Monday.
The squad includes seasoned campaigners such as defender Bokang Ntsane and striker Phuzile Molefe both from LDF Ladies team. There is no foreign-based player named in the squad at this stage.
Lesotho are regular participants in the tournament and have reached the semifinal stage four times.
Goalkeepers: Nketsetseng Chaole (Bokamoso Ladies), Boelo Lepheana (Kick4 Life Women), Ntabiseng Hlao (Lijabatho Ladies).
Defenders: Moseme Khashane (Lijabatho Ladies), Bokang Ntsane (LDF Ladies), Mahali Sipiriti, Matséliso Mosala (Kick4 Life Women), Mpho Molefe, Litoboho Tjolobe, Lerato Nthako (Berea Ladies),
