Algerian giants CR Belouizdad have officially announced the contract extension of German head coach Sead Ramovic for three more seasons, keeping him at the helm until the end of the 2027/2028 campaign.

In an official club statement, CR Belouizdad said:

"As part of applying project set by the club’s board of directors, the contracts of Mr. Sead Ramovic, his assistant Kodro Mostafa, and fitness coach Ghozziya Hicham have all been extended until 2028."

Ramovic took over the team in February and since then CR Belouizdad have played 17 matches, securing 10 wins, 4 draws, and suffering only 3 defeats. During this period, the team scored 34 goals and conceded 19.

The German coach has also guided CR Belouizdad to the final of the Algerian Cup, where they will face USM Alger.

In the league, CR Belouizdad secured third place in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 standings with just three rounds remaining. This position ensures their qualification for the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup. CRB are five points back of league leaders MC Alger and one point back of JS Kabylie with three games remaining, leaving open the possibility of qualifying for the CAF Champions League with a top-2 finish.

Before his time in Algeria, Ramovic had coaching stints in African football with Young Africans SC in Tanzania and TS Galaxy in South Africa.
