Algeria's Chabab Riadhi Belouizdad (CR Belouizdad) are keen to sign 23-year-old Malian centre-forward Fily Traoré from Libya's Swehly Sports Club for next season.
According to a source close to the Algerian club, it has been revealed to Pan-Africa Football that CR Belouizdad officials have expressed a definite interest in signing Malian international Traoré. According to the same source, the former striker of Congolese giants TP Mazembe striker from DR Congo was approached at the start of last season but without a definitive approach for the Malian.
Traoré began his career in 2020 with Malian club Cercle Olympique Bamako before joining Mazembe. The player continued to move between several clubs before returning to Mazembe in 2024 and then to Libyan club Asswehly Sports Club.
According to Transfermarkt, Traoré has played 23 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 16 goals and providing 7 assists.
