The semifinal stage of Belgium’s Croky Cup is complete after Anderlecht crushed Royal Antwerp 4-0 in Thursday’s second leg to confirm a 4-1 aggregate victory. Senegal national team talent Ilay Camara and Malian defender Moussa Diarra were in the XI to help secure the clean sheet.
But for Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini, Wednesday’s second leg victory for Union Saint-Gilloise was a crucial moment for the 23-year-old. After nine months without a goal, he delivered the second goal in a 4-1 victory that served as the crucial match winner.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate made notable strides last season during his first campaign in Belgium but his progress was in serious danger of being halted. Out for a long period due to injury, he made eight substitute appearances beginning in January before scoring in his first start since the layoff.
Algerian playmaker Adem Zorgane continued his excellent season with a late assist in the victory for Union. The former Paradou AC player is an important member of the midfield and remains a reliable performer.
For Camara and Diarra, Thursday’s result is a massive boost for a club that has been in miserable form in the league, with a six-match winless run. Now far out of a top-3 position in the Jupiler Pro League, Anderlecht will put plenty of effort into securing a trophy now that they have advanced to the final.
The final between the two semifinal winners will take place on May 14 at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
