CS Constantine head coach, Kheireddine Madoui, did not rule out the possibility of overturning the result in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final against Morocco's RS Berkane.
The first leg in Morocco ended with a 4-0 victory for RS Berkane. The two teams will meet again on Sunday in Algeria, with kick-off set for 4 PM GMT.
Speaking in the pre match press conference, as quoted by Ennaharonline, Madoui said: "The madness of football always makes you think positively – nothing is impossible, and why not make a comeback?"
The Algerian coach added: "We emphasized to the players the need to throw our full weight into the match, especially since we are certain that we will experience an extraordinary atmosphere and unparalleled support from the fans."
Madoui explained that he, along with his technical staff, had analyzed the mistakes committed in the first leg and identified the opponent’s weaknesses in order to exploit them, stressing that his team is ready for the encounter.
The former CAF Champions League and CAF Super Cup winner concluded: "Anything can happen. We aim to run the match in the ideal scenario. We focused on the psychological aspect and noticed great determination within the group to deliver a big game."
