Cyprus League: Algassime Bah’s double boosts Krasava’s relegation fight

On loan forward Algassime Bah continues to make a big impact for Cyprus League club Krasava, scoring both goals as his club made it back-to-back victories to begin the relegation group with a 2-0 victory at Chloraka.

The Guinean, who represented his country at at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, has endured ups and downs during his loan spell from Greek giants Olympiakos but the 2025-26 season has marked a positive step in his European adventure.

A sublime curled effort in the 30th minute set the tone for a victory for the visitors, who took advantage of their strong start to secure three points.

Ten minutes later, the 23-year-old displayed his poaching instincts in the penalty area by arriving to finish from a cross to give his team a two-goal lead at halftime.

Hosts Chloraka made a push in the second half but failed to find a goal to put pressure on their opponents. Krasava are now seven points out of the drop zone following the result with five matches remaining.

Bah continues to gain valuable top flight experience in Cyprus League

Bah now has 6 goals in 25 league matches this season, with an additional goal in the cup. He saw sporadic playing time with Cypriot power APOEL last season on loan but the experience prepared him well for this season, where he is showing signs of positive development.

Next up is a home clash against another team currently in the relegation zone, Ethnikos Achna, on April 19. Bah joined Olympiakos from Guinean club FC Renaissance in 2021, where he became a prolific scorer for the Greek club’s reserve team but could only manage two senior team appearances over three seasons before embarking on his ongoing series of loan spells.
