The Bibiani based side wove their way to knock down the record Ghana FA Cup holders 2-1 with Augustine Boakye’s late strike to take them closer to the leaders Medeama.
“We knew we were going to play against a transitional side, we knew that they had home power behind them [and] we were very much aware of whatever happened on the field,” Didi Dramani said.
“We knew they were very strong with their wide play and we were very much aware of it and so we are not happy with the goals we conceded and we knew we were going to have our moments and we did have our moment right from the first half into the second half but we still need to grow in our game.
“We need to be very clinical and decisive in decisive moments of the game.
Hearts of Oak remain in third on the league table with 40 points, six behind leaders Medeama and five adrift of second placed GoldStars after 24 matches.
Hearts of Oak rivals Asante Kotoko sit in fourth with 39 points after drawing goalless at home to ten-man Vision FC.
