“The Club believes his leadership, tactical insight, and experience will add significant value as we pursue our objectives for the remainder of the season.

The Club extends its sincere appreciation to Coach Connor for his commitment, professionalism and contribution during his time with Galaxy. We thank you, Coach, for your service and dedication, and we wish you every success in your future endeavours.
“Further updates regarding technical team arrangements will becommunicated in due course.”
The Bulgarian, who was recently being linked with a move to coach Botswana’s Mochudi Centre Chiefs’, left Simba following uninspiring results in the CAF Champions League group-stage.
He lasted less than two months on the demanding job after leaving another Botswana team, Gaborone United. At Simba, the Bulgarian presided over six games across all competitions posting three wins, one draw and two defeats for Simba, not too bad overall, but not good enough in the context of the Champions League’s Group D assignments.
Simba had settled for Pantev after failing to lure Miguel Gamondi from Singida Black Stars. Pante now returns to Botswana to handle Gaborone United’s rivals Jwaneng.
Jwaneng are currently sitting second in the 16-team table with 41 points, three less Pantev’s former club Gaborone United, who are leading the pile. Jwaneng have played 18 matches, won 12, drawn five, and only lost once.
