Congolese striker Jackson Muleka has finalized his permanent move to Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood. The Ar Rass-based club has signed Muleka on a two-year deal.
The former TP Mazembe player spent last season at Al Kholood on loan from Turkish side Beşiktaş. Muleka completed his transfer to the Saudi Pro League after Al Kholood paid €1.5 million.
The 25-year-old striker scored seven goals in his first season in Saudi Arabia and hopes to add more when the new season kicks off. Since moving to Europe from famous Lubumbashi club TP Mazembe, Muleka has played for Belgian side Standard Liège and Turkish outfit Kasımpaşa. A full DR Congo international since 2019, Muleka joined Turkish giants Beşiktaş in 2022 but a lack of playing time pushed him to seek opportunities elsewhere.
Al Kholood finished the season in ninth place. The club is also home to Comoros striker Myziane Maolida and Nigerian center back William Troost-Ekong.
