Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC host Bechem United in relegation dogfight

There will be a battle of bottom placed clubs in the Ghana Premier League when Bechem United travel to the Tuba astroturf as guests of Dreams FC on Sunday. The game will start at 3PM GMT.

Bechem United have struggled this campaign, sitting in 17th on the league table, one point below Dreams FC after 12 league matches this season.

Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah is however confident that his side can beat Dreams FC in their next fixture.

“What is painful is to score first at home and end up losing the game. We have done our analysis and realised that we gave away the two goals. What I can say is that it was a bad day for my team. The performance was not the best.

Kobina Amissah who joined the Bechem United in November, has ruled out any form of pressure ahead of the remaining fixtures.

“There is no pressure on us. I will make sure that before the league ends, we will jump from where we are. We lost at home, but we can also go away and pick a win,” Kobina Amissah told Bechem United TV.

Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has shared some words ahead of his team’s game plan for their upcoming encounter against Bechem United.

Speaking in a pre-match interview, Winfred Dormon stressed the importance of securing a positive result after Dreams FC’s consecutive defeats in the last two matches.

“Bechem United, they are also struggling just like us. We are making sure that we respond well after the back-to-back defeats. The players are responding very well in training. Expect to see one or two tactical adjustments. We intend to keep the ball and dictate the pace of the game,” Winfred Dormon told Dreams FC.
