Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC sign young defender Issahak Fuseini

Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have once again bolstered their ranks with the signing of Issahak Fuseini.

The defender joins the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup semifinalists from lower tier side Tamale Utrecht, a move that will help the youngster hone his talent and add value to his burgeoning career.

Dreams FC, who won the Ghana FA Cup in the 2022/23 season announced the signing on their social media page.

“We are pleased to confirm the signing of defender Issahak Fuseini, who joins us from Tamale Utrecht F.A. Welcome to the Still Believe family, Issahak!”

The “Still Believe Boys” have so far announced three new signings after the arrivals of midfielder Thuair Dhahud and Thomas Coffie.

Dhahud joined Dreams FC from fellow Premier League club Young Apostles, with the 2023 CAF Confederation Cup semi-finalists announcing the capture of Dhahud on social media.

“We are delighted to announce that Thuair Dhahud has completed his move from Young Apostles FC to Dreams Football Club. The midfielder joins us as we strengthen our squad ahead of the GPL challenge,” the club wrote.

Thomas Coffie signed for Dreams fc from lower tier side Home Stars. The club announced: “We are delighted to confirm that Thomas Coffie has completed his transfer from Home stars to Dreams Football Club.”

Dreams FC started the Ghana Premier League on a jerky note but they have been impressive in the last few games winning three, drawing one and losing one in their last five matches.

Coach Winfred Dormon led his charges to hold record FA Cup champions Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at the Legon Sports Stadium and they will next host Young Apostles in week 20 on Friday, January 23 at the Tuba Astroturf.
