Italian Serie A club Pisa Sporting Club (SC) has officially announced the signing of forward Rafiu Durosinmi from Czech side Viktoria Plzeň.

The deal, which makes the Nigerian the most expensive signing in Pisa’s history with a total package of €11 million (€9 million guaranteed plus €2 million in add-ons), was announced on Wednesday via the club’s official social media handles and website. The fee significantly eclipses the club’s previous transfer record, which had stood for over three decades.
Durosinmi has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2030. Pisa moved aggressively to secure the 23-year-old forward, fending off competition from several European sides, including reported interest from West Ham United and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The forward joined Viktoria Plzeň in 2022, tallying 35 goals and 10 assists in 86 appearances. His impressive record includes 16 appearances and 6 goals across UEFA Champions League qualifiers, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League matches.

Upon his arrival in Italy, Durosinmi will find a familiar face; he joins fellow countryman and 21-year-old midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, who is currently on loan at Pisa from Inter Milan.
