Marmoush is back as Egypt announce squad for Al-Ain international tournament in November

The technical staff of Egypt’s national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, has unveiled the Pharaohs’ squad for the upcoming November training camp, set to take place in the United Arab Emirates from November 10 to 18.

Egypt will compete in the Al-Ain International Friendly Tournament, hosted in UAE from November 14 to 18, as part of their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations later this year.

The squad features the return of Ahmed El Shenawy, the Pyramids goalkeeper, who rejoins the national setup for the first time under Hossam Hassan after a long absence. He is named among four goalkeepers alongside Mohamed El Shenawy and Mostafa Shobeir of Al Ahly, and Mohamed Sobhi from Zamalek.

Several fresh faces have earned their first call-ups under Hossam Hassan, including Mohamed Ismail and Ahmed Fattouh from Zamalek, Marwan Osman of Ceramica Cleopatra, and Salah Mohsen from Al Masry.

Meanwhile, Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush returns to the national team squad after missing the October camp due to injury.

The full Egypt squad for the UAE camp is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ahmed El Shenawy, Mohamed Sobhi, Mostafa Shobeir.

Defenders: Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Hamdy, Ahmed Fattouh, Rami Rabia, Khaled Sobhi, Hossam Abdelmaguid, Mohamed Ismail.

Midfielders: Marwan Attia, Hamdy Fathy, Mohanad Lasheen, Mohamed Shehata, Mahmoud Saber, Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet”, Ibrahim Adel, Marwan Osman, Omar Marmoush, Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”, Mahmoud Abdel Hafiz “Zalaka”.

Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Osama Faisal, Salah Mohsen, Mostafa Mohamed.
