Al Ahly midfielder Emam Ashour is scheduled to return to group training next Monday after recovering from a long-term injury.
Ashour has completed his rehabilitation following surgery on a fractured collarbone sustained during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group stage clash against Inter Miami in the United States last June. The procedure was performed in a Miami hospital shortly after the incident.
According to the medical staff, Emam Ashour will rejoin training without full contact initially. His readiness for official matches will be assessed gradually, with the final decision left to the technical staff.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly players have been granted two days of rest following their 4-1 win over Pharco at Cairo International Stadium on Friday. The team will resume training on Monday to begin preparations for their Nile Egyptian League Week 4 fixture against Ghazl El Mahalla, scheduled for Monday, August 25.
