Ivory Coast defender Emmanuel Agbadou has taken another step in his career after moving to Turkish powerhouse Besiktas.
The 28-year-old joined the 16-time Turkish champions from struggling English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers in a deal worth €20 million including add-ons.

The 17 time capped Ivory Coast centre-back has signed a 4-and-half-year contract that will keep him with the Black Eagles until 2030.
Agbadou joined Wolverhampton at the start of 2025 from Reims for €20 million. He made 35 appearances for the Wolves, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Agbadou’s previous experience includes stints at Tunisia side US Manastir, Belgium outfit KAS Eupen and French Ligue 1 club Reims before moving to Wolves in 2025.
He played one game at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations where Ivory Coast suffered a 1-0 loss to Egypt in the quarter finals.
