Another Liverpool match, another Mohamed Salah goal! The Egyptian superstar was once again involved as English Premier League leaders Liverpool marched on to their latest victory, a 2-1 result over Wolves on Sunday.

Luis Diaz gave the Reds the lead inside fifteen minutes in a dominant first half for the hosts at Anfield. A devastating Liverpool counter attack resulted in Salah's clever pass being deflected into the path of the Colombian to chest his finish past Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.

In the 37th minute it was Salah's turn to put his name on the scoresheet. Diaz ran onto a pass from Alexis Mac Allister and was tripped up by Sa for a penalty kick. Salah calmly chipped his spot kick down the middle as Sa dove out of the way to double the advantage for Liverpool.

Wolves rallied after the halftime break, pulling back a goal through Matheus Cunha in the 67th minute. However the leaders held on for victory and remain seven points clear of closest challengers Arsenal. Salah has now scored in his last six matches for Liverpool, bringing his total to 23 goals in 25 appearances in league play as well as 14 assists.

Liverpool return to action on Wednesday when they travel to face Aston Villa in league play.
